The Monkey Bar Balmain. Owner and Manager Kay Leforest speaks about the inspiration behind what has become an institution in Balmain, far removed from all of the other Balmain Pubs, this place is more like a café you would find in Europe, where during the day you can go in for breakfast, or a cup of coffee, often you will see mothers in their with prams, then at night it becomes more like a nightclub with a DJ playing the tunes. It is a great meeting place, comfortable lounges, great wines, good coffee and fantastic food served all day.
